Once you’ve mastered the basics, it’s time to experiment. In the Stars or Pentacles module, we’ll play with shapes — turning Japanese bookbinding into an exercise in creativity and design. A course for those who have already completed the basic module and want to break the rules to create unique, personal patterns. From simple sheets, you’ll craft decorative notebooks that reflect your own style. The workshop is also accessible to people with motor disabilities.

Take a step back in time — between paper, leather, and movable type. During the workshop, you’ll create a soft leather notebook (animal or vegan) using one of the oldest bookbinding techniques. We’ll print your name together, learn how to sew the pages, and explore how notebooks were made in the past.
